Rummage Sale Drop-Offs

At this time, I invite you to consider donating items to be sold during the sale. Beyond Words will be accepting donations of any of the below items in NEW or LIKE NEW condition. In other words, if you would not buy it in that condition, please do not bring it here! Donating items will earn you raffle tickets toward winning prizes.

On November 8, 9, & 10 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, we will be accepting drop-offs of the following New or Like New items:

  • Dance Shoes

  • Leotards

  • Tutus

  • Garment Bags

  • Athletic Apparel

  • Dance Costumes

  • Toys & Games

  • Jewelry

  • Accessories

  • Women's Clothing (only dresses or special occasion on hangers, everything else folded)

  • Children's & Baby Clothing

  • Baby Supplies

  • Small Furniture (that one person can easily carry)

  • Holiday Decorations

  • Housewares, Lamps & Home Decor (NO ELECTRONICS, NO TOILETRIES!!)

DISCLAIMERS: Anything other than these items will NOT be accepted unless it’s pre-approved by office staff. Poor quality items will not be included and disposed of. Additionally, donations will be accepted ONLY at the times listed above. No early donations, please! We simply do not have the room to store items for long periods of time.

It takes a village to pull off an event of this scale. Beyond Words Dance Center is in dire need of volunteers to help before, during, and after the sale. An online sign-up will be coming soon for the following volunteer slots:

  • Item Drop-Offs on Nov. 8-10 (unloading cars, sorting items, pricing)

  • Set-Up on the evening of Saturday, Nov. 11

  • Set-Up on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 12

  • Check-Out Desk & Bagging

  • Keeping things tidy during the sale

  • Break-down & Clean-Up

  • Transporting leftover donations to Goodwill

BWDC is so incredibly grateful for any time you're willing to donate. In appreciation for your help, all volunteers are exclusively invited to a private shopping experience an hour before the sale opens to the public. Mark your calendars for 11 AM - Noon on Sunday, November 12 if you plan to volunteer! Volunteers will also earn raffle tickets for each shift volunteered for. This will enter you for a chance to win some prizes!

Additionally, we’ll need to borrow tables and rolling racks to use during the sale. Please let the studio know early in advance if you plan on providing either of these items. Start saving your paper and plastic bags- we'll be needing those, too! :-)

If you are unable to donate your time and items, please help us spread the word about our sale! We want this event to be successful so we can continue to host it year after year.
